A $31 million hotel project in downtown Greeley — nearly two decades in the making — has broken ground.
The six-story Double Tree by Hilton hotel will offer 147 guest rooms, a 14,000-square-foot conference center and a 12,000-square-foot ballroom, the Greeley Tribune reports.
Providence Hospitality Partners of Denver will manage the hotel, slated for a July 2017 opening. Providence’s CEO, David Storm, is a graduate of Greeley-based University of Northern Colorado.
Greeley based Hensel Phelps Construction Co. will build the hotel, which was designed by Denver architecture firm Johnson Nathan Strohe.
