Fishing Derby

Don’t miss the annual Fishing Derby!
The City of Greeley’s Fishing Derby returns 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 5. Grab your fishing pole and tackle and join us at Sanborn Park, 2031 28th Ave.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. in the park at the Greeley Recreation tent near the playground. Arrive early for some fun giveaways. City staff will be giving away prizes every half an hour throughout the day. Two bicycles will be awarded as grand prizes at the event.
Fishing licenses are not necessary to participate. Colorado Parks and Wildlife has designated Free Fishing Weekend on June 5 and 6 throughout the state of Colorado.
The event is sponsored by the City of Greeley, Envirotech and the Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife.
