Greeley Fire Department’s 150 Years of Service Community Event

The Greeley Fire Department will commemorate its 150th anniversary with a community event from 2-4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 5. The department invites the public to attend the celebration at Fire Station No. 1, 1155 10th Ave. Fire department artifacts, historical photos, and trucks in use today will be on display. Participants also will have the chance to tour portions of the station. Fire Chief Brian Kuznik, as well as members of the department’s command staff and honor guard, will lead a short ceremony starting at 2 p.m. The celebration also will be livestreamed on the department’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/gfdcolorado.
