Greeley’s Landscape Lecture series will move to an online-only format via a Zoom webinar through June. City of Greeley officials have monitored the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation, and the health and safety of the community are paramount. Presenting the lectures through an online-only format will help limit contact and exposure. The webinar will be broadcasted live and attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions. Even as the Safe at Home is lifted, this may be a safe option for residents who don’t feel comfortable sitting in a crowded room. Please register: https://bit.ly/LLGreeley2
Learn how you can conserve birds through native gardening. One of the biggest bird conservation threats is habitat loss. To address this, our Habitat Hero program provides people, businesses, and cities with the resources to create bird habitat in their own communities. By planting bird-friendly gardens with native plants, not only are we creating more beautiful and water-efficient communities; we’re connecting people to nature.
This class will be led by Jamie Weiss, Habitat Hero Coordinator at Audubon Rockies.
Greeley’s Water Conservation Program offers a Landscape Lecture series to the community. This is one of these events. Visit GreeleyGov.com/LandscapeLectures for more information on all upcoming sessions. Follow the “water” tag on Greeley Calendar to find out more about all of our water and conservation events.
