Outdoor Pools and Splash Parks Open for the Summer

The City of Greeley’s outdoor pools and splash parks officially open Saturday, May 29.  Join us at the following facilities all summer long:

Centennial Pool, 2315 Reservoir Rd.
Discovery Bay Waterpark, 715 E. 24th  St.
Island Grove Splash Park, 302 N. 14th Ave.
Sunrise Splash Park, 325 12th St.

City officials highly encourage participants to be “swim-ready” upon arrival, showering prior and already dressed in appropriate swim attire. Visitors should bring adequate water and hand sanitizer. Officials encourage all visitors to wear a mask and practice social distancing at the pools. Anyone with COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms — fever, cough, or shortness of breath — should not enter or use city facilities.
Swim lessons are available for youth 6-months to 15-years. Register for classes at greeleyrec.com/swim-lessons. The registration deadline for the first session is May 28.
Greeley Recreation is also in need of lifeguards. The next lifeguard training session is scheduled for the weekend of June 18-20.  Register at greeleyrec.com/lifeguard-training by June 16.
