To date, the pest is not in Greeley. While it’s currently found in Boulder, Lafayette, Longmont, Gunbarrell, and most recently in Superior. These communities currently have the only known infestations in the state.
The confirmation of Emerald Ash Borer in Boulder County warns of the unavoidable introduction of a new tree pest to Greeley. This infestation could adversely affect thousands of Ash trees in our community.
