Learn about the color wheel and the history and processes of creating certain colors from natural and artificial dyes with a visit to the Greeley History Museum’s “Well Dressed in Weld: Spectrum” exhibit. What color makes people feel more energized? What colors represent safety warnings or the women’s suffrage movement? Discover some meanings behind colors through the artifacts on display. The exhibit features some of the boldest and brightest items from the museum’s collection. The “Well Dressed in Weld: Spectrum” exhibit ends August 5, 2018.
The Greeley History Museum, located at 714 8th St., features three floors of permanent and changing exhibitions throughout the year.
